Client Review

Recuva installer installed Google Chrome without asking, without warning, and with no way to decline. The Chrome install happened before I even knew it was happening. This was a most unwelcome surprise. I am always careful to use the most advanced and customizable installation options so I can minimize unwanted extras, but there was no mention that Chrome was coming until it was too late. This is downright unscrupulous behavior by the publisher.

-Took many hours to scan a 2TB exFAT drive.

-Could only recover a tiny fraction of the files on the drive.

Didn't recover any files

Installs piggybacked software

Triggers Smart Screen Filter warning (that's worrying)

Installed ccleaner your knowledge; After install, recuva does not listed in Windows start menu

None that I think are important enough to mention
